Partner with us in raising servant leaders for Christ.
We know how important it is to choose the right school for your family because this decision will last a lifetime. That’s why we partner with you in preparing your child for the future God has in store for them.
Submit your child’s most recent report cards and standardized test scores to our admissions office. If your student will be entering Kindergarten, you will need to submit their Preschool Progress Report at this time.
Student applicants are scheduled for English and Math entrance exams or Kindergarten Readiness Testing.
New applicant files are reviewed for consideration based upon classroom space that is or may become available and are then scheduled for their family interview. Acceptance to Granville Christian Academy will be based on space availability and alignment with our mission and educational philosophy of partnership.
Granville Christian Academy selects employees and students of any race, color, gender (as Genesis defines the unique roles of male and female in Exodus 20:14; Leviticus 18:7-23; 20:10-21; Deuteronomy 5:18; Matthew 5:27-28; 15:19; Romans 1:21-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-20), national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to employees at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Log in to your account and create a New Student Application for each child. Please ensure you select the correct academic school year when creating your student’s application.
Do you wear uniforms?
Yes. Details on our dress guidelines for students in all grade levels and for varying events can be found here.
What is the average class size?
Elementary and middle school classes (grades K-8) have an average of 18 students.
High school students have different academic tracks and can choose different electives, therefore actual academic class sizes vary.
The average graduating class size is 19 students.
Do you have a lunch program?
Outside vendors provide opportunities for students to purchase their lunch each school day, such as Donatos, Arby’s, Subway, Lee’s Chicken and Fazoli’s. These purchased lunches are pre-ordered and paid for on your Parent RenWeb Account the month prior. Students are always welcome to pack their lunches; however, microwaves are only available for MS/HS students.
My child has special academic needs. Can you accommodate him/her?
As part of the application review process, we will determine if we can provide the services needed to support your student’s unique needs.
Is there security on campus?
Safety for our students, staff, servant leaders and guests is one of the highest priorities here at Granville Christian Academy. The most unique part of our security plan is that we have a Crisis Response Team who have been fully trained in medical and environmental safety as well as intruder situations. In addition to practicing the state- mandated fire, tornado, and lockdown drills, we have many additional measures in place to promote the safest environment possible. As doors are locked throughout the entire school day, any guests entering the building must be buzzed in by the receptionist and will receive a visitor badge. In addition to on-site video surveillance, all of our volunteers must have a current background check on file before being permitted to serve.
Is there a school nurse?
A full-time registered nurse is located in the building and is accessible to all students throughout the day.
Is GCA accredited?
Granville Christian Academy has been chartered by the Ohio Department of Education since 1997. Since then, we have continued to maintain the Standards outlined by the State of Ohio for chartered non-public schools. We are currently working towards an additional, higher-level accreditation through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).
Do you provide bus transportation?
Bus transportation is provided by your local school district. Please contact the local bus garage to see if transportation is available for your child.
